I had a similar problem with my 2004 diesel, it would flatten the battery after 4 or 5 days of not being used. The battery was a brand new Bosch unit.

I put an ammeter in the battery positive line...

I sold my motorcycle on 12th June 2021 and TODAY I received an acknowledgement from the DVLA saying that I was no longer the registered keeper.
