It seems the Symphony unit has much better functionality than my CD 80 (it's so basic, it can't even play a CD in random order  and can't even play every track smoothly on a CD ) so I'm suspecting something ought to be different somewhere.

- Wire stripper (can also crimp but I don't know how to)

TBH I would stear clear of the Iovox CD80 and the Iovox 100-mp3. I actually like the look of them but they are useless for reliability. I have been through two of each over the last 2 years. Loads of grief. Get a (Radioguy) DD player if you can or for £180 I went for one of these. No sat nav though, unlike Radioguys units etc
