It's programmed with the number of miles which MG Rover considers can be covered between oil changes. It also measures how far you've driven, compares the two and displays the difference.

You need a resetting tool which can be bought on e-bay. Search the forum for information.

So long as it meets or exceeds spec. ACEA A2 it will be fine. It can be mineral, semi sythetic or fully synthetic; it's up to you.

Press the button behind the gear lever labelled with a motorway symbol, then at your desired speed press 'set' on the steering wheel.
