There are three types of DDE4 fitted to the R40....

If your car has the boost temperature sensor in the top intercooler hose, it's OBD compliant NNN500340 manual or auto.

Otherwise if the car has a plain top intercooler hose, a manual car will be fitted with NNN100692, and an auto with NNN100720, neither of which are OBD

P.S. you cannot retrofit an NNN500340 ECM to an NNN100720 equipped car, without various engine wiring changes, along with a couple of sensor modifications ZCS change or not
