These ABS systems tend to be similar, even identical, on all cars, there are only a few manufacturers of this equipment, (did I hear the name Bosch mentioned ?), so faults like this can and will occur on ANY car with ABS. SO off-load the 75 if you must, but the replacement you buy will have ABS, and probably the same manufacturer and you could have the same fault yet again.
Better to get the car checked by a specialist in braking systems, or even check with Bosch themselves. The second-hand route sounds the best and most economic way forward.
