She's always loved Mini's (the 'classic' & BMW variety) & a couple of years ago, without her knowing, I bought a 52 plate Mini Cooper in Silver with a Black panoramic sunroof & full Black leather.
Put it straight into the bodyshop to get a few scratches/stonechips sorted, new set of wheels & tyres, give it a full service & suspension bushes etc, put Red ribbon on it & surprised her with it on her Birthday.
I even managed to rent a garage for her to keep it in which is just around the corner from us & opposite her Mum's house !
Needless to say......................she was surprised.
