I loosened but didnt remove ie. undid the top nut and loosened the nut on the lower pivot bolt and undid the top nut of the heat shield.

BTW Ive finished....well almost.....despit labelling the 3 vacuum pipes I'm not sure whether I have the 2 rear ones the right way round!!! DOH

Also, I shut the engine lid and it wont release. If I can sort those 2 things Ill be able to start it up.

Ive taken a few photos - will have to add comments later but hee goes in case its any help...
