Interestingly there will still be Holden(GMH) but they won't be designing and making local models. All the cars I think will arrive out of GMs new china plant, probably be generic models that are sold world wide and fitted out here for local conditions.
We had the most amount of car brands on offer here than anywhere in the world which is crazy considering we only have 22 million people.
Ford and Toyota have done the same thing, our wages are to high and globalisation marches on. Add to that thel locals love affair with cheap Korean imports and there you have it.
Less people want an expensive set of wheels now days, they just want a cheap reliable car to get them from A to B.
