Hi Bill.
Yes that would have failed the if you had not left the engine under tray on, as that was the only reason he could not see it, or test it, did he give you advisory for the under tray ? some do.

What mount did you replace it with do you have a link or ebay number for it, also would you be so kind as to let us know how long it lasts, maybe check it again in 3 months to 6 months time.
