Folks go on so much about regular oil changes and what oil to use in their engines to get the best performance or to make the engine last longer.
Yet with brake fluid which I class as safety related the same folks either don’t bother or change the fluid only do so when they have to.
Regular brake fluid change is a must for me and by that with a lower mileage it may be two or even three years but at least I change it.
BTW the same goes for coolant and even windscreen wash. Have you seen the bacteria that can build up in that reservoir.

Agreed! The fluid degrades and absorbs water slowly over time, so you don't notice the difference in pedal feel and brake effort. It's not a difficult job and doesn't take long to do. I prefer to use an assistant rather than vacuum or pressure bleed, it's easier and quicker.
