At the end of the fuel rail there is a shraeder valve that can used to monitor fuel pressure. In theory when you turn the ignition on the pump should prime for 10 seconds or so. A tyre air pressure gauge may give you a reading if used carefully. Expect around 3 - 4 Bar.
