While not to everyone's taste, with the K Series and KV6 being such clean engines you can also remove the oil via a vacuum pump using the dipstick - I'd drop the oil as usual every other change though.
Saves all the mess underneath with the undertrays - as Blink mentions, it's a bit of a pain.
For those particularly fastidious, dropping the sump every few years was always a good chance to clean any crud from the oil pickup too - in most of the cars I've done this to, I've found a couple of bits stuck up there.
Usually the K Series camshaft cover flaking away as they tend to do, and finding its way to the sump.
