Well, I headed up to the MOT station this morning.........as I entered the village where the garage is, the odometer clocked over to.............123456 !!!!
The MOT tester took a photo of the speedometer, his words "just in case the DVSA question the input on the system"
I wandered off to have a coffee, and returned an hour later to find a fresh clean pass, and a comment from the tester that the car was exceptionally clean underneath for a car of it's age.
Next stop the Post Office, and a years worth of VED purchased before the ink was dry on the MOT, then an aimless cruise to savour the ambiance and simply enjoy the fruits of my labours.
