I used bumper paint from Halfords, they do a bumper prep spray which removes all the silicones and any other contaminants on it and did it with that. Can't remember if it needed a primer or not now but covered it with a few light coats and it went on ok. This was it when I first did it. Will take another couple of pics tomorrow to show it now.
