Last week I was out and was watching a car pull away in the snow, about 2 inches of it, wheel spinning until either traction control kicked in or he got it under control.
I don't have an auto. I just reversed and moved forward using the clutch and no gas until I was rolling. As mentioned about an auto, changed up with less revs.
