Might be worth getting one of those beam thingymajigs so the vehicle is lifted in parallel. They usually slot into the hole left when the lifting saddle is removed.

"Beam thingymajigs" What are they?
Are they the device that MOT testers use on their lifts to lift the front and back of the car to check the front and rear wheels?
If so can you buy them for trolley jacks?
