By all means check the Engine Control Module (ECM) in the plenum Steve but all your malfunctioning equipment uses the K-bus. The K-bus "header" looks like a connector and it's grey in colour. It's inside the car and trikey has given you the location.
It has seventeen connections in total but you're interested in the eight WRY wires (colour coded white/red/yellow) which you'll find in a straight line.

To help you locate the connector, it also has two light green/red wires (if you have parking sensors) and at least five red/white wires.
