Morning. Ging is dayshift again so up at 5, didn't bother going back to bed, can't get back into a meaningful sleep.

Only time I've been involved with a turntable was on the EMI Express, charter for EMI hauled by the Evening Star and Green Arrow. Up to Gleneagles, drop the passengers, on to Perth where we had to turn the locos on the old turntable at the goods yard. Any power assistance on the turntable had long since been removed and it was down to as many bodies as possible and brute force to shove it round.

Not doing anything Phil. Ging is dayshift today then nightshift tomorrow. Bit of gardening is on the cards.
