Good morning all,
Well I would like to share some good news, the other day I had to visit 2 hospitals in London for 2 different scans. The results of the vascular ultrasound scan showed the Saphenous vein is in excellent condition and is good enough to be used as a graft in a bypass operation.
The other one, a CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis was a monitoring scan and I won’t get the results until I see the surgeon on the 7th June. The next step from him will be to arrange a date for the bypass.
Hopefully that will be the last of it. Although essential and needs must, 4 operations in 5 years are becoming tiring, the last one really took it out of me but it saved my life.
So now it’s back to the routine of doing more exercise and building myself up again.
What is everyone up to?
