Default Walnut

Sorry Bolin only just saw your question. Templates were made from Balsawood ( not sure of spelling ). Very easy to work and get "whatever shape you want" .
Then walnut pieces were then made from templates on very thin wood and bonded to door card with evostick. I made them about 6 years ago and unfortunately, the balsawood templates are long gone. I used the same method to make the seat sides. Hope this helps.

The door switch faces were stripped and removed the burr walnut leaf was then bonded directly to the plastic face and lacquered. I wasn't sure that this would work but it did ( I would have used Simons pieces but didn't know of him then ).

ps It may me possible to use the same method on the front armrest?? I prefer leather. But, If I had a scrap arm rest lid to play with I could investigate.
