I've just completed this most excellent mod, I'm really chuffed, I now have a handbrake that works on two clicks, hurrah!
A couple of things I noted when doing the job:
1 - try not to do it in the dark!
2 - cut out the section under the rear centre console as it will aid in moving the carpet. I didn't and had a bit of a job removing the 3 torx screws.
3 - an extra pair of hands works a treat with the carpet, I didn't have anyone around to help with that. Although I was temped to ask an innocent bystander if they wouldn't mind pulling on my carpet, I did however think better of it.
I'll be getting this back into the post tomorrow, apologies it's taken slightly longer than I thought although a weeks turn around isn't at all bad.
