Hi Brian.
We eventually a good second hand one, and to make sure I also got one from Mickyboy Turned out in the end once the pedal was replaced and the faults cleared it would drive ok for a while then it was back in limp mode, unplugged the MAF and all is ok drives as it should, once the MAF is plugged back in limp mode right away.

He is at present driving with the MAF disconnected until he can get either a good known used Bosch or new Bosch MAF.

He message me just before he went to Greece for his holiday that the crack pulley as now given way, so another job to be dealt with these cars will give you lots of trouble if you only check them out once every six months or so, which the owner is omitted too.

It is basically driven with out any weekly checks, in my opinion asking for trouble.
