Hi Simon
I've just done the same short trip again with the AC on and the temp never rose above 93 whilst moving. The trip was about 70% motorway and no more than 20 minutes
On the driveway at the end it rose to 100 as it stood still but the AC temp remained ice cold, freezing the missus, and there was no fan at all.( i didn't want to wait for the high speed fan to kick in!!)
Does that suggest anything to you other than worn motor brushes?
