Fitted!
Was fairly straightforward, luckily the replacement set was complete so I could see what was what. Swapped the clock over, the hardest part was unplugging the lighter socket. I found a good dodge for the gear lever - the new one was split so I just left the old one on the lever and removed the clips with a trim remover and a screwdriver, no smashed teeth and kept the perforated gaiter.
I was quite surprised how much flimsier the technical set was, much poorer quality.
