He did and that´s the way he treated the mechanical parts:



"Hi, I only unclipped two of the push on plastic parts. I dipped them in brick acid, the kind that builders use, it doesn't melt the plastic. I zinc plated them and put some extra brightner in the bath, I then dipped them in Gold passivate for the shine. If you're careful you won't have any problems doing the same, I've done every nut and bolt for my build, all new stuff but re-plated for a better finish".
