Years ago the house we lived in had a small porch at the front door, Dougal (our Dachshund) loved sitting on the wooden bench on top of the brickwork in there watching the world go by. My father painted the porch, gloss white but didn't do a good enough job of keeping Dougal out. First we knew was a trail of white gloss footprints along the hallway, into the lounge etc, at the head of the trail was Dougal, covered in white gloss, all over his feet, legs and bum
The bench had to be repainted! As for Dougal, just had to wipe off what paint we could, had a grey Dachshund for a while.
