This is the second time in 10 years I have had to replace the light seals. I suppose it is not too bad for a car which is 21 years old.

This afternoon, I rang up a GM/Isuzu dealer to ask about ordering an OEM timing belt kit for the 4x4 to take back to Africa. Just for the belt alone, I was quoted £140, which can be delivered tomorrow, but the tensioner will take 2 weeks. I was shocked and thought rip off prices, so ordered from Milners, a new belt (104 teeth - made in Singapore). The tensioner and a new thermostat, everything with delivery and VAT, all in for £63. The thermostat in the 4x4 struggles to get to 83C and you know, how fairly important it is to have a thermostat on a 4x4 working properly
