P1470 usually results when either the balance flap valve has stuck in mid position or indicates a fault with the actuator.
P1472 results when the power actuator cannot drive the valve linkage properly. It may be electrically faulty or the linkage may be broken.

Stocktake is your man for these and the codes are separate to your idle control problem. They will affect engine performance though.
