Default New Rover in the family.

My son bought his first car yesterday, his choice - a 2000 Rover 25 1.4 (yes I know it’s not a 75 but it’s still a Rover).
Just over 54,000 from new with full service history, large file with all bills and receipts and in generally very good condition, although it does need a little attention.
The car appears well equipped with electric front windows, air conditioning, C.D. Multichanger (factory fitted under the passenger seat) and token wooden trim inside.
The engine and bay look as new, the space saver has never been used and the toolkit is still in its wrapper.
Bad bits are all four tyres need replacing (virtually no wear but quite heavy cracks all over the carcasses) most of the high level brake light bulbs inoperative, clock/radio display missing pixels, wiper blades past their best and a previous poor repair to the rear of the o/s sill needs doing properly (but is a very small repair).
We spent quite some time cleaning it today and it comes up quite nicely, photos of it after cleaning the bodywork, but before sorting all the ‘grey’ plastic trims.
I have made a list of things to sort out and will have them done by the time he’s old enough to drive in August (plan is for it on the road and ready so he can drive it on the road on his birthday).
Had a little drive about in it today and it’s not a bad little thing!
