I'd say renew these sensors as a matter of course because they will inevitably suffer from the removing stage. The tip contains electrickery that generates a voltage pulse when each of the magnets on the bearing's reluctor ring rotates past. The pulse tells the ECU how fast the wheel's turning.

The RH one took some shifting TC - I was really whacking the drift rod, so I think it's almost certainly damaged the pickup or whatever is in the tip. The new ones will arrive today or tomorrow - I wonder if I should lubricate them with some red rubber grease or silicone grease (or something else) so they don't weld themselves in again. What do you think?
