Don’t be fooled by a damp carpet, what lies underneath can be deceiving. Seeing as I was soaked from removing the carpet, I gave Meg a bath, she’s now also drying out on the window ledge above the radiator.

Been there got the tea shirt, so feel your pain took my carpets two weeks to dry out.

If any member sees a tiny bit of water just below the seat belt anchor point, then investigate as that is how mine first showed up, when i lifted the carpet like Andy a good bucket or two of water was sucked out, and at least the same was soaked into the sponge of the carpets.

Mostly affects cars with a sunroof.
