Perhaps they only use cheapo Chinese parts and don't like Rimmers' prices ?
This is the first time I have heard of a garage having this problem with a Rover , although I once was asked to get the parts myself as the garage didn't want to be responsible for the quality ; they believed all Rover parts to be dodgy !!!!!
