I has an "exhaust" noise so thought maybe exhaust had blown. Took it tio a Fast Fit and they said new front part of exhaust needed. Price was bonkers. So took it to my trusty local MG Rover specialist who simply tightened up the exhaust manifold nuts which had come loose. No charge and fixed in 10 mins. They may charge more per hour but they actually spend less time fixing my car because they know what they are doing. No trial and error there. The main reason I keep my car is because of them. They are in Bradford by the way if anyone needs a good place to take their cherished car
