I used a Seely polishing kit (IMHO a very good buy with everything you need for the job). There is a sachet that contains the UV coating with specific instructions to keep the treated lens free of moisture (dry!!) for at least 24 hours following coating. Although I gave it a good 3-4 hours in the late afternoon to harden there was an overnight dew and it completely b....red all my good work; for what it's worth it looked a bit like condensation. Seems like the warm acrylic theory fits your particular issue though.
Any OP know what the UV liquid treatment is, funny stuff to apply with a sponge, terrible pong and goes all sticky in next to no time?
