I rate Astras highly as well. Owned a 2 litre turbo cabriolet since 2005. Normal servicing and has been totally reliable (done it now). It's also quick when you want it to be. Not recommended for long commutes though. Very comfortable, but I never seem to see better than 28mpg regardless of how I drive. We also have a 2002 2.2 standard Astra cabriolet auto. Also reliable and comfortable, but again no where near as good as a Corsa on fuel.
