There's been some nasty news around here that dog thefts are on the increase. If you see any random cable ties on lamp posts etc, beware. This is one of the "markers" the toe rags use. They've also gone in for paint marking the road/pavement as if it's the water/gas/electric folks prepping for some work.
We've had one Guide Dog puppy walker who had their photo taken while out training by some guys in a van - fortunately they remembered the Reg No. and called the Police and a friend who's been "questioned"about if they breed from their dog and if it's tagged.

Morning all, the dog theft issue is out of hand nowadays, sentencing needs to treat a dog as you would a human, not just property and increase the sentence acccordingly.
I carry a heavy chain lead when out with Meg, one of them would end up with a very sore head if they tried anything.
