You phone a company or organization with whom one only ever can conduct the business online or the telephone, but one gets a warning that there may be a poorer service due to Covid. I know there may be problems caused by staff shortages but sometimes there is no sense in it.

You dont expect a company to tell you the poor service is down to them not employing enough staff do you? There are one or two company's that have had a recorded message for years saying how busy they are and that calls are important, you would have thought by now if they were that busy for so long they would get more staff ..... but that costs money and the bloke at the top probably does not care
