Hello David, to answer your specific question, here's LUK's damper springs fatigue test in graphic form. This is the upper limit and shouldn't be exceeded. Note that the 'teeth' mentioned here aren't the starter ring teeth. The DMF has a separate series of square 'teeth' on the inner mass. There's more available if you need it.
