This happened to me also, 13 months and 3000 miles after a full new clutch including DMF with LUC master and slave the master failed. The job was done by Trikey so I know it was done properly. The master was replaced by Andy Willie and 10/11 months later the slave failed. He told me it was common and he had had them fail out of the box. He said in his experience all of the suppliers were the same and none was any better than the other including the metal ones.

It seems to be pot lock on the quality of the parts fitted, even trusted branded ones for these cars now. Big Russ advised me that this problem with replacement clutches failing with mainly hydraulic components giving out is very common. He has seen it on a lot of his customers cars and says now he would not buy a manual 75/ZT and to stick with autos if you want one.
