eBay UK is of little interest nowadays to us in foreign parts especially those sellers who don't actively opt out and use the Global Shipping Program. Adds to the cost and triples the delivery time.

I now search primarily EU when I need something, the Latvians seem to have lots of s/h Rover 75 parts, at reasonable prices and the traction control motor I received last week was so well washed it looked new.

That latest piece of news from Dorchester2 about civic numbers is especially unwelcome, people here as in France don't like sharing personal information. But on the other hand authorities here never ask your name instead you're expected to provide them with your civic number and then they might confirm your identify with your name.

I've received parts from DMGRS earlier this year and paid VAT & a handling charge at point of entry which was the Netherlands, but all went quite smoothly.

Seems the only thing missing at present between UK and the EU is a formal declaration of war!

Regards
