Thumbs up I fixed a thing

So, when the window fitter fitted a new side window a couple of years ago, & then broke the chrome surround on the indoor handle, & not telling me I finally fixed it using the self tap screw method I discovered the other day
I had to prise the chrome ring away as he'd glued it to the panel, then removed the screw & eased out the handle. Drilled & fitted 2 self tappers, one in the top, one underneath, & refitted the assembly. Works great
One happy bunny
One thing, when taking off the ring, there was a noise like all the catches unlocking/ locking Had a look around, couldn't see anything so carried on. Turns out, as I was pulling the handle, my finger was resting on the n/side rear window switch, & I'd opened it
