In other words, could it be condensation from inside the car and not an external rainwater leak entering through the lower seal #6?

If your car is as damp as that inside you will soon have some serious contact problems with the electrics under the dash.

For that amount of damp you would need a pool in the boot and every carpet wringing wet.--
