I don't think it is such a niche requirement. The 'take you and your car home' package, is rather useless if they abandon your prize caravan far from home. I would suggest it is an essential for anyone who takes touring caravan or camper holidays.

AA and RAC do not offer a "take you home" package. What they offer is a recovery package that takes the vehicle, driver and passengers to a single destination of the member's choice if they are unable to fix the vehicle. It is very clear in their offers and contracts that this is the case.
In my view the requirement to return to a caravan or another base to collect the caravan or other belongings is a niche and unlikely to be met by a standard recovery package from any of the major companies. Hence my earlier suggestion that your need is more likely to be fulfilled by a specialist package for caravan owners.
The majority of people on holiday or work trips, who are using a place away from home as their base, would want the car taken to a garage and fixed as opposed to it being taken home given that most modern cars are not fixed at home by the majority of car owners.
