Spoiled brats
It’s amazing how such pantomimes as the current court action between two wives, who otherwise would be irrelevant, of famous footballers hang their tawdry affairs on the public washing line.
Then, when the major news outlets follow the events so avidly, it diminishes us all. The following ‘ode’ by a talented observer says everything – I hope no unauthorised publication of the work contravenes any other interests but this observation has it exactly right:
‘Who will it be then, the Wagatha Queen? Rebekah, d’you reckon, or maybe Coleen. Who’ll be the winner, and who will have lost? What of a friendship now covered in frost? The doors of the courtroom are shut with a clank, And the lawyers they laugh all the way to the bank.
