I have now found a reason for having a Tourer. A weekend away for daughters wedding and DIY at a house for my sister.

Would have been easy with a Tourer. Rear seats folded down and so much space. A saloon just does not have the space capacity.
With boxes of borrowed decorations and a box of tools plus other bits the boot and rear seat of my saloon were full and the caravan floor did not fair much better.

My dad was an Estate man but my preference is a hatchback
