That’s the problem, every type of Nationalised institution, be it NHS, GP, Councils still have that “the caller is wrong” entrenched ability to avoid any liability. That’s one of the few good things that in general, privatised institutions do better.
I speak as one who has worked for both types over the last 35 years...
Ps of course I refer to the front counter, not the foot soldiers.
