Why not get it hooked up to a diagnostic - T4 is the best, and see exactly what is causing the lack of starting?
Common starting but running fine once the engine has started problems are, as you mentioned, either camshaft sensor or injector leakback related, and as Colvert said it could be a wiring fault from the sensor to the ECM.
Does the oil pressure low warning light come on as it should with key to position II when it doesn't start?
