Contacted my local garage to update them on the other garage that were contemplating fixing regulator. Other garage said they don’t want to take on the job (replacing the regulator isn’t that bad surely?!). My garage said they’ll replace the fuel pressure sensor and regulator if I get the parts and they have a cancellation! We have progress, of sorts! Parts are already on order anyway so I’m hoping to get the parts and car key to them on Wed and then wait for a job cancellation.

Can anyone say how long a job it is to replace the fuel pressure sensor (it looks like it just screws on) and replace the HP regulator?
