Steve; to begin with, and to minimise the amount of disruption, remove the fascia closing panel on the driver's side. That's the swept back moulding below the lighting switch module and steering column. It has two screws at the top and two press fasteners at the bottom.

It's never comfortable working in footwells but that should, hopefully, enable you to identify the header.
