Just to clarify, you mention "Dad's car". Does the key fob which was crushed in the door belong to your Dad's car and is it his engine which is stopping? In other words, are we talking about one car and its own key, not your ZT-T?

Sorry for the confusion.
I think it was someone else that had a squashed key.
My ZT-T was/is my Dad’s car, but he has dementia and isn’t allowed to drive any more, so I look after it and use it to ferry Mum & Dad about. It’s great for getting mums wheelchair in the boot.
